The instruments used in this procedure will be a
myringotomy blade or knife and a disposable blade which
ever the doctor prefers.
Different size specula to choose from, the surgeon may
want a ear curette, different size suctions the 5 suction and
the 3 suction will usually do fine for this procedure.
You will also need a alligator forceps to place the
Eustachian tube or myringotomy ear tube in the middle
typaninic membrane or the eardrum.
The surgeon will also need a Rosen pick and a Cerumen
ear curette for the wax build up that most people have.
